Taylor Swift, Madonna, and Charli xcx Featured in New Music Release Weekly Fan Poll

Taylor Swift leads the final New Music Friday of September with “Patient Zero,” a new single from The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The release adds four new tracks to her LP. Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, “Patient Zero” combines a country-teasing intro with standard pop production.

Madonna teamed up with Charli xcx for an Afterhours remix of “Danceteria,” connecting Madonna’s Lower East Side origins with the development of Los Angeles PC music. Maren Morris and Michelle Branch collaborated on a new version of Branch’s Billboard Hot 100 hit “Goodbye to You,” which peaked at No. 21 nearly 25 years ago.

Additional new singles include “Pink Blush” remix by Dolly Babe and Megan Thee Stallion, “This Time” by Kirk Franklin and GloRilla, “Vulnerability” by Shenseea, “Decimate” by Maeta, “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Labrinth, “A Different World” by Brandy, “Loser” remix by Tame Impala and Fcukers, “Sentinel” by serpentwithfeet, “Two Things Can Be True” by Miranda Lambert, and “Chapter 4” by Imogen Heap.

Tinashe released her full-length album Popstar, focusing on her experience as a Black woman and independent artist. Jae Stephens released her debut album, Audacity, while Leon Bridges shared Happiness Anytime. Kenny Chesney released Silver Sands Marina, Blondshell issued her third album, Violins, and Emjay released a 13-track set titled Pop Pesado.

Additional new albums include Tee Grizzley’s They Forgot, J.I the Prince of N.Y’s Tears from a Weeping Prince, DDG’s Hit-a-Thon, Tank’s Experience, Warren Zeiders’s No Brakes, Topaz Jones’s New Life, Nippa’s Homegrown, and Nessa Barrett’s Tough Love.
