Selena Gomez is cheering on Benny Blanco after the producer added a sexy new title to his already packed resume.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the singer-actress gushed about People naming her boyfriend — whom she’s been dating since summer 2023 — one of 2024’s Sexiest Men Alive in a lineup that also included the male cast of New Girl and fan-voted honorees Tim McGraw, Jonathan Bailey, Glen Powell, Joe Jonas and more. “That’s my man!” Gomez said of Blanco proudly. “It was very charming.”
The Rare Beauty founder went on to say that she’s “beyond proud to know that there is someone in the world who deeply cares about every tiny detail about who I am.” “And to have someone support me, encourage me, inspire me and motivate me, it brings me a joy,” she added. “More than anything, he’s just my best friend. I’m really, really lucky.”
Though John Krasinski took home the official title of Sexiest Man Alive this year, the outlet also gave Blanco an honorable mention and ran a profile on the “Eastside” hitmaker Nov. 11. In the article, Blanco opened up about his personal life with Gomez, calling her “a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life.”

“I go all out for every date,” he added. “We go all out for each other. One time Sel was like, ‘Oh, I want to take you on a date.’ We drove somewhere and she had rented out a whole botanical garden for me. She also likes something so simple. For Valentine’s Day, I got her Taco Bell, I made her movie-theater nachos, I found her favorite pickles from Texas and I deep-fried them for her. Then [I had] all her candies and Hot Cheetos.”
