SCS On The Road visits FORVIA HELLA

On 7 April 2025, SCS Software released an SCS On The Road episode filmed at FORVIA HELLA facilities in Czechia and Slovakia. The crew followed the work behind vehicle headlamps, from initial design to the production and testing steps used for lights fitted to cars and trucks.

Inside the lighting facilities

FORVIA HELLA says its Mohelnice site combines development, production and testing. Engineers work on optics, electronics and mechanical design, while the plant also handles plastic parts, module assembly, complete headlamps and laboratory validation. The SCS video follows these stages during a guided factory tour.

SCS Software also interviewed several FORVIA HELLA employees during the visit. The studio noted that several interviewees were also players from its community. Their comments focus on the technology and work that go into each headlamp.

SCS shared the episode through the Steam news feeds for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
