“Scream 7” Surpasses $200 Million Global Box Office Milestone
Global ticket sales for the slasher sequel “Scream 7” have officially crossed the $200 million mark, according to industry reports.
The film’s current earnings stand at a precise $204 million: $118.6 million was generated by North American audiences, while international markets contributed an additional $85.4 million. This achievement marks the highest financial success for the legendary franchise since its debut in 1996.
The narrative of “Scream 7” centers on the iconic Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and her daughter, Tatum (Isabel May). Kevin Williamson, the screenwriter of the original “Scream,” served as the director for this installment. Despite its box office prowess, the film was met with a lukewarm critical reception, currently holding a 31% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
