‘The White Lotus’ Star Parker Posey to Lead New Blumhouse Horror Film

Actress Parker Posey, known for her roles in The White Lotus and Scream 3, has been tapped to star in the upcoming horror feature Sleepover. The project is a collaborative effort between Blumhouse and James Wan’s Atomic Monster, the studio behind franchises like Insidious and The Conjuring.

Specific plot details for Sleepover remain under wraps. The film will be directed by Jacob Chase, whose credits include Come Play. The theatrical release is currently scheduled for October 8, 2027.

Later this autumn, Posey will also be seen in Martin McDonagh’s tragicomedy, Wild Horse.
