Sarah Connor Sets Out to Hunt Eleven: Stranger Things Showrunners Reveal First Details About Linda Hamilton’s Character in Season 5

Linda Hamilton — best known for portraying Sarah Connor in The Terminator — will join the Stranger Things universe in the show’s fifth season.

According to reports, Hamilton will appear in season five as a government agent hunting Eleven. In an interview with Empire, Matt Duffer described her character as “incredibly clever and terrifying.” She’s a scientist by trade, but she can fight when necessary and isn’t afraid to take up arms.

Few details about the character have been revealed so far — and information about the series finale remains limited as well. The showrunners have confirmed, however, that the final chapter will answer the story’s central questions and bring all narrative threads together.

The final season of Stranger Things will roll out on Netflix in three installments: the first four episodes arrive on November 26, a further three on December 25, and the series finale on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
