Sabrina Carpenter Playfully “Arrests” Elle and Dakota Fanning During Los Angeles Show

Sabrina Carpenter paused her Los Angeles concert on Monday night to good-naturedly “arrest” sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning — presenting them with a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs after spotting the Hollywood duo in the audience.
In clips from the singer’s second of six shows at Crypto.com Arena, Carpenter singled the actresses out, asked their names and quipped, “It’s like, one of you is cute, but two though? Damn!” — a playful nod to her own lyric from “Juno.” The moment, captured and shared online, prompted delighted reactions from the crowd and viewers alike. (Watch the clips here.)
Carpenter has made a lighthearted tradition of “arresting” famous attendees for being too attractive; past playful “perps” include Millie Bobby Brown, Gigi Hadid, Anne Hathaway, TWICE and others.
The Los Angeles dates at Crypto.com Arena also mark the closing leg of a tour that has spanned more than a year. Carpenter launched the Short n’ Sweet Tour in September 2024 to support her Billboard 200–topping album Short n’ Sweet, which was released the month before; since then she’s followed up with another full-length record, Man’s Best Friend.
Following the run of shows — with her final performance scheduled for Nov. 23 — Carpenter will shift focus to preparing her headline set for Coachella 2026, where she is set to share top billing with Justin Bieber and Karol G. She’s also slated to begin work on a long‑delayed Alice in Wonderland remake, which she will both executive produce and star in.
