Russian bus conversion simulator removed from Steam — developers contact Valve to resolve the issue
The developers of Bus Flipper: Renovator Simulator have recently faced significant scrutiny regarding their project.
Released on Steam last summer, this simulation title challenges players to creatively repurpose retired buses, transforming them into functional spaces like mobile bistros or luxury motorhomes.
The game’s trajectory hit a snag when it was abruptly delisted from Steam due to copyright infringement issues. Following the removal, the development team worked closely with Valve to address these legal concerns and implement the necessary adjustments.
As of early March, Bus Flipper: Renovator Simulator has officially returned to the Steam storefront.
Reflecting on the situation, the developers stated they have learned from the experience and are now “meticulously removing any assets” that could potentially trigger similar complications in the future.
