Insiders report that Amazon MGM is eyeing Jacob Elordi for the role of James Bond in Denis Villeneuve’s forthcoming film. The Australian actor may be called in for screen tests — though his calendar already appears busy, not least with the upcoming third season of Euphoria.
That said, the final casting decision will rest with Villeneuve, and the official casting process isn’t due to begin until 2026.
Previously, producers were said to prefer an unknown British actor under 30 so a long-term contract would be feasible. Whether Elordi fits that criterion remains unclear.
