Attention Officers,
With the release of the v1.5 Update for Ready or Not, we are introducing the brand-new Mission Editor. This powerful tool grants you fine-tuned control over gameplay parameters within existing operations, offering deep customization specifically tailored for non-playable characters.
As this is the initial rollout of the Mission Editor, expect continuous refinements, additional bug fixes, and fresh content in future updates.
Free Triple Weapon Pack Styles Now Available to All Players
Originally introduced alongside the console launch, the exclusive Ready or Not Triple Weapon Pack variants are now accessible to every player completely free of charge, regardless of your platform or game edition. These complimentary cosmetic variations include the Hard Chrome (HC) MK-V pistol, the Flat Dark Earth (FDE) 590M shotgun, and the LSPD Blue M32A1 rotary grenade launcher.
Players who previously unlocked these items—such as PC users, console pre-order customers, and existing Triple Weapon Pack owners—will retain access to both the classic and newly introduced finishes for each firearm.
Update Day General FAQ
-
Q: Why did my PC game mods break following this update?
A: Whenever Ready or Not receives an update, core files tied to new features and technical fixes are modified. Modifications that rely on older, now-outdated assets will typically require an update from their creators to function seamlessly with the current game version.

-
Q: Why does the download size appear deceptively large when the game’s final storage footprint barely increases?
A: Digital distribution platforms like Steam frequently update titles by overwriting existing data archives. For instance, an initial download requirement of 6GB might only expand your overall installation size by 1GB, as the remaining data simply replaces older files.
-
Q: Why is my download taking so long despite having a fast internet connection?
A: During updates, game platforms perform routine integrity checks on your local storage drive (whether an HDD or SSD) to verify file health, which can artificially extend the overall installation time.
-
Q: Why hasn’t my console version updated automatically?
A: Console ecosystems do not always support seamless background auto-updates. You may need to manually trigger the update from your game library while connected to the internet.

Known Issues
-
Active shooter suspects may still populate default active shooter maps even when disabled within the Mission Editor.
- Workaround: After toggling off active shooter parameters, manually enable any alternative suspect archetype.
- The “G18-C” sidearm drops the “-C” suffix when localized in languages other than English.
- Suspects assigned the Tactical Archetype via the Mission Editor currently default to MLO voiceover lines.
- Adjusting the “Suspect Fire Rate” slider does not save changes correctly.
- Workaround: The global difficulty preset chosen at the start of Mission Editor setup will dictate the active suspect fire rate.
- The third-person magazine-check animation for the MK-V pistol fails to play to completion.
- The bomb count modifier currently fails to scale the actual quantity of explosive devices present on the map.
- The replay viewer camera may occasionally encounter tracking and orbital framing issues when cycling between actors.
