The numbers are in, and the verdict is historic: Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime spectacle has officially become the most-watched performance of all time. On Monday, March 2, co-producer Roc Nation announced that the Puerto Rican superstar’s landmark set generated a staggering 4.157 billion global views within its first 24 hours. This record-breaking total encompasses worldwide broadcasts, U.S. television, YouTube, and various digital streaming platforms.

While a specific breakdown of these figures has not yet been released and the data remains awaiting independent verification, the sheer scale of the reach underscores the artist’s unprecedented global influence.

In terms of traditional domestic viewership, the halftime show—staged during the Seattle Seahawks’ 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots—attracted 128.2 million U.S. TV viewers. Although this domestic figure is a marginal decrease from the previous year’s 133.5 million, the massive digital and international engagement propelled Benito to his new world-record status.

This milestone is a natural extension of Bad Bunny’s dominant career trajectory. The “King of Latin Trap” has consistently redefined modern stardom, having earned the title of Spotify’s most-streamed artist globally in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2025.

Beyond the viewership records, the “Super Bowl effect” is fueling a significant surge across the music charts. His latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, recently secured its fifth week at the summit of the Billboard Global 200. Concurrently, it has held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for three consecutive weeks, maintaining a vice-like grip on the top spot since his February 7 performance in Santa Clara.

The album also staged a triumphant return to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for a fifth non-consecutive week. This resurgence followed his halftime appearance and his high-profile win for Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards just one week prior.
