RoboCop Developers Accidentally Leak New World of Darkness Game Build on Steam
The latest RoboCop: Rogue City update arrived with a startling revelation.
A significant, seemingly unintended patch for RoboCop: Rogue City recently went live, causing a bizarre overhaul of the shooter’s internal data. Most notably, the game’s standard executable was completely replaced by a file named “Hunter.exe.”
The developers were quick to address the blunder, releasing a subsequent fix to restore the correct files. However, the window was long enough for a few observant players to download the build and investigate the mysterious content.
Instead of the familiar cyborg lawman’s mission, players were greeted by an early build of a project titled “Hunter: The Reckoning.” Several screenshots from this accidental leak have already surfaced across social media and gaming forums.
“Hunter: The Reckoning” is a well-known tabletop RPG set within the “World of Darkness” universe. This accidental leak suggests that a new digital adaptation of the franchise may be in active development behind the scenes.
