Cosplayer Recreates Six, the Lone Captive of the Maw, From Little Nightmares

Cosplayer Lidia “Olidushka” Lepeshkina has taken on the role of Six from the horror game Little Nightmares. Six is a girl trying to survive in grim conditions aboard the underwater vessel known as the Maw, and she refuses to stay a helpless victim.

The Little Nightmares series stands out among horror games and platformers for its distinctive atmosphere and storytelling. Over nine years, it has given players many memorable adventures and built a large fan base.

Photographer Jay Wanmei prepared a new set of images for Little Nightmares fans. During the shoot, Lepeshkina transformed into Six, the main character of the first game in the franchise.

Six is a small girl trapped in the depths of a mysterious underwater vessel called the Maw. Her bright yellow raincoat, with a hood that fully covers the upper part of her face, makes her instantly memorable.

Six’s character comes through entirely in her actions. For such a fragile child, she shows remarkable resilience, pragmatism, and a hidden cruelty. She acts as a calculating survivor ready to do anything to save her own life, rather than a frightened victim.

As Six moves through the ship, an abnormal and overwhelming hunger takes hold of her. It grows from ordinary weakness into a frightening obsession and gradually erodes her humanity. She starts with a rat caught in a trap, then crosses moral lines and eventually eats a friendly Nome who trusted her, instead of the sausage he offered.

The ending of the first game shatters the image of an innocent child. Six coldly kills the Lady, the Maw’s hostess, takes her mystical powers, and ruthlessly destroys every guest on her way to the exit. She turns from a victim into a new and even more dangerous monster of this cursed world.
