Another shooter set in the Starship Troopers universe is on the way.
Auroch Digital, the studio behind the retro-style shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, has recently unveiled its new title, Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!
This is a classic, retro-inspired first-person shooter:
Command squads across sprawling battlefields in a single-player campaign brimming with hidden loot, varied missions, and — naturally — hordes of bugs.
Actor Casper Van Dien appears in the announcement, reprising his role as Johnny Rico and addressing players directly.
You can add Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! to your Steam wishlist via this Steam page. The game is slated for release in the first quarter of 2026.
