During Sony’s PlayStation stream right now, Capcom introduced Resident Evil Village, the subsequent of their horror sequence. As rumoured, Village brings again RE7 star Ethan Winters and does certainly have werewolves. Or bioweapons who simply so occur to appear to be werewolves, or nonetheless RE clothes up monsters nowadays. It’s due in 2021, and appears just a little one thing like this:
Some of that appears tremendous RE4-y, and I dig it.
Capcom call this “the eighth main entry” within the sequence so yup, I suppose that is Resident Evil eight by one other game. This is one other first-person game like RE7 too, although Capcom say Village has “a greater focus on combat and exploration”.
As for what’s happening, Capcom say that Village is ready a number of years after Resident Evil 7, with Ethan and his spouse Mia fortunately reunited and dwelling collectively. But… “Finally able to move on from those horrifying events, Ethan’s world suddenly comes crashing down once again when Chris Redfield, an unexpected yet familiar face makes an appearance, setting off a chain of events that sees a distraught Ethan seeking answers to Chris’s shocking actions… and ultimately finding him in a mysterious village.” Thanks a bunch, Chris.
Yup, it is confirmed for PC.
