In any case, for the anecdote, this is not the first time that this Canadian complex has been used for a feature film. For example, observant moviegoers will no doubt notice that It: Chapter 2 went there for a walk, as one tweetos reported. For the record, the reboot of Resident Evil will be produced by Johannes Roberts (The Strangers: Prey at Night, 47 Meters Down), and Chris and Claire Redfield respectively played by Robbie Amell (Left for Dead) and Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Crawl).
Among the other characters, Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap) will perform Leon S. Kennedy, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) Jill Valentine, Neal McDonough (Yellowstone) William Birkin, and Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy) Albert Wesker. Release scheduled for 2021, if all goes well.
