The team behind the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has announced the exact time of its worldwide premiere. All ten episodes of season two will be available on Netflix on October 20 at 10:00 a.m. Moscow time.

The sequel tells a standalone story about four residents of Night City. The mercenary Wick Kingsley has left his past fame behind and is searching for a reason to keep living, while the netrunner Dee is trying to find the people who destroyed his clan. Their fates become entangled with those of Roman Karax, a young film buff, and Talia Young, a girl from a corporate family who has joined the Maelstrom gang.

Studio Trigger is once again responsible for the animation. Kei Ikarashi directed the season, having previously directed episode six of season one, “Girl on Fire.” Masahiko Otsuka wrote the script together with Bartosz Sztybor, who returns as showrunner, story author, and producer.
