Mr. X is a reasonably scary man – he stalks the Raccoon City Police Department searching down Leon and Claire in Resident Evil 2, and he’s almost unstoppable in his pursuit. So how do you make this leathery, trenchcoat sporting menace even scarier? Swap him out with Thomas the Tank Engine, after all.
Naturally, there’s a mod that means that you can do exactly this. Thomas has proven up in mods earlier than, changing enemies in Falllout 4 and dragons in Skyrim. This could also be his most scary look so far, though there’s all the time been one thing vaguely upsetting about Thomas’ lifeless eyes and unmoving, rictus grin. Having him stomping down the halls, lit solely by our heroes’ flashlights, is one other degree of unnerving.
The Thomas mannequin will be discovered on Nexus Mods. This simply swaps Mr. X with Thomas, leaving the sound results untouched. However, for an additional layer of creepiness, you can too substitute the music and SFX with Thomas’ theme and steam engine sounds, which helps promote the expertise that rather more. The sound results swap will be discovered on the Steam workshop.
