Michelle Yeoh receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh (*Everything Everywhere All at Once*) has been officially honored with her own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.
To celebrate the Malaysian actress’s milestone, a prestigious circle of collaborators and friends attended the ceremony, including directors Ang Lee (*Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon*) and Jon M. Chu (*Wicked*), as well as Sandra Oh, Awkwafina, and Ke Huy Quan.
“This is beyond words… I am completely overwhelmed. The road from Malaysia to this very spot was far from direct. There were times when I questioned whether I truly belonged. But I have been blessed to be part of stories that transcend borders and languages—narratives that remind us just how profoundly we are all connected,” Yeoh shared in her heartfelt acceptance speech.
This recognition follows another major career highlight for the actress, who was recently bestowed with the Honorary Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for her exceptional contributions to cinema.
