Radiohead set a new benchmark at London’s O2 Arena after four consecutive sell-out shows this month. The band’s residency eclipsed the venue’s previous attendance high — a mark set by Metallica in 2017 — according to the O2’s announcement on X.
The Oxford-formed group played the arena on Nov. 21, 22, 24 and 25, 2025. Each night attracted more than 22,200 fans, with the final evening drawing 22,355 attendees, the venue said in its post on X.

“These past four record-breaking nights will go down in the venue’s history, with Radiohead breaking the attendance records each night,” said Christian D’Acuna, the O2’s senior programming director.
D’Acuna added that the shows spanned different set lists drawn from the band’s extensive catalogue and described hosting Radiohead as “a true honor” that will be remembered for years.
The London dates were part of a sold-out, 20-stop European tour that began Nov. 4 at Madrid’s Movistar Arena — Radiohead’s first live appearances together since summer 2018. That earlier run included a performance at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center in August 2018.
Reflecting on the reunion, drummer Philip Selway said the group began rehearsing the previous year “just for the hell of it,” and that after a seven-year hiatus it felt great to reconnect and rediscover the musical identity they share.
Radiohead had stepped back from touring after supporting their 2016 record A Moon Shaped Pool. The album became their sixth No. 1 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart, reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and preceded their Coachella headlining slot in 2017.
