Square Enix has established a brand new studio and introduced Project Prelude Rune as its first sport.
Project Prelude Rune is the working title of a brand new RPG introduced earlier by Square Enix. The Japanese large established a brand new studio to work on the title, named Studio Istolia.
What’s attention-grabbing concerning the announcement is that Hideo Baba, longtime producer of the Tales collection (at Namco) is heading up the brand new studio. Baba can also be producing the title.
“Studio Istolia further builds on Square Enix Group’s vision to create new intellectual properties alongside existing Square Enix studios,” the corporate stated in a press launch.
Istolia originates from the Greek phrase for “story.” Square Enix didn’t reveal a lot else concerning the sport, however did say it goals to construct an RPG “with a new fantasy: unfolding across a vast land teeming with life.”
Outside of the idea artwork you see above, nothing else has been shared concerning the sport or the studio. Not even platforms or a launch window.
