Prime 1 Studio Opens Pre-Orders for Mosasaurus Statue from “Jurassic World”

In 2027 a mosasaur, the massive marine reptile, is slated to arrive for collectors as Prime 1 Studio prepares to release a statue of the creature from the film “Jurassic World.”

Over the past 32 years the “Jurassic Park” franchise has grown to include numerous films, a variety of games, comics, theme parks, and a vast community of dinosaur enthusiasts.

It was announced today that Prime 1 Studio has another treat for fans: pre-orders are now open for a 1/15 scale mosasaur statue from “Jurassic World.”

The collectible is priced at $1,699 (about 138,000–139,000 RUB). The statue measures 57 cm tall, 98 cm wide, and 42 cm deep, and weighs 28.4 kg.

The sculpture’s gaping jaws reveal razor-sharp teeth and lifelike membrane textures. The thick, rugged skin is rendered with a naturally irregular pattern, and layered bluish-gray tones recreate the shifting reflections of underwater light.

Dynamic tail splashes, crafted from translucent elements, convey the sense of the boundless ocean. The specially designed base vividly depicts the lagoon ecosystem: red and blue corals, schools of fish swimming near the predator, and a great white shark fleeing in panic.

As an exclusive bonus, customers who pre-order will receive an Indominus rex skull (height 74 cm, width 47 cm, depth 44 cm). The statue is scheduled for release between January and April 2027. Sculpture videos: first, second, third.
