Stranger Things 5 Posters: Cast and Release Guide

Netflix expanded the campaign for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things with a large set of character posters. The artwork brings the Hawkins ensemble back together while introducing the new faces involved in the last battle against Vecna.

Who appears in the final-season campaign

The returning cast includes Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Noah Schnapp as Will, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas, Sadie Sink as Max, Winona Ryder as Joyce and David Harbour as Hopper. Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman and Jamie Campbell Bower also return.

The final season adds Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay, Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler and Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbow. Netflix’s character-focused campaign separates the large ensemble into clear portraits, making it easier to identify returning heroes and the season’s new players.

The final illustrated poster

Illustrator Kyle Lambert created the main key art for every season of the series. For Season 5, he deliberately echoed the original 2016 poster: Will returns to the top of the composition, Eleven occupies the center, and details such as the stars, sky and vehicle lighting mirror the first artwork.

The final poster uses a stronger red glow around Vecna and places a Demogorgon in the composition for the first time. Lambert explained that the artwork was designed after studying the episodes, allowing the image to tease the season without simply assembling cast photographs.

Story and release schedule

Season 5 is set in the fall of 1987. Hawkins remains damaged by the opening of the Rifts, Vecna has disappeared, and the government has placed the town under military quarantine while continuing its search for Eleven.

Netflix released Episodes 1–4 on November 26, 2025, Episodes 5–7 on December 25, and the eighth and final episode on December 31. The complete final season is now available on Netflix.
