Porsche Sends Leon to Driving Lessons: Resident Evil Requiem Gets Unusual Ad
Even though Resident Evil Requiem has already hit the shelves, the promotional campaign is still in full swing. To drum up even more excitement, Capcom has teamed up with Porsche for a high-octane collaboration that takes the game’s marketing in an unexpected direction.
Porsche recently reminded the gaming community of its integration into the Resident Evil Requiem universe by releasing a featurette starring the actor behind Leon S. Kennedy. In the video, he showcases the raw power of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, one of the manufacturer’s most formidable SUVs. This high-performance machine is a beast in reality, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.
The automotive giant also shared another promotional short that leans into a long-standing community joke. In the clip, Leon is confronted with the notorious fan theory that he is a terrible driver. The narrative takes a turn when he is offered expert training to help him master the precision handling of the new vehicle.
