Polish Artist Creates 3D Remake Concept of Heroes of Might and Magic III

Players are showing a much stronger preference for a fan-made vision of a classic strategy game than for its official remake.

Ubisoft Entertainment recently announced a remake of Heroes 3. The debut presentation of the Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake drew mixed reviews because some players were unimpressed by the updated visuals.

Against this backdrop, gamers recalled that Polish 3D artist Jakub Siejka published a concept for a remake of the classic game on ArtStation in early 2026. The work was carried out in collaboration with Lukasz Szybałdin, Tomasz Badalski, Agata Górecka, Monika Dalach, Grażyna Pietruszka, Piotr Żórawski, and Kinga Makowska:

Many players imagined what a beloved classic might look like if reimagined in 3D with modern graphics. This project is our personal, fan-made vision of that idea. Together with my collaborators, we created a fan concept inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III as a creative tribute to the original game. As a big fan of the Might & Magic series and someone who has spent years making mods for HoMM3 (I am part of the DoR Team, which is creating a major new modification for this game), it was a great pleasure for me to work on this project.
