Pixel Washer shows new gameplay trailer and targets autumn release

Acclaim and Valadria have released a new gameplay trailer for Pixel Washer. The cozy cleaning game is planned for PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 this autumn.

Players control Pigxel, a pig equipped with a power washer. More than 40 handcrafted levels include parks, docks, arcades, museums and a multiplex cinema. Each location starts covered in grime and gradually returns to its original pixel-art appearance.

Different washers use their own spray patterns, allowing players to select equipment for a particular job. Money found or earned during cleaning can be spent on vehicles that carry tools between locations, including the Pig Mobile.

The game combines 16-bit visuals with a relaxed soundtrack and hidden collectibles. The developers say the final version will contain more than six distinct areas.
