Pirates Leak New Spider-Man Movie Online

Hollywood blockbusters continue to suffer from premature online leaks. Following a similar incident with Christopher Nolan’s *Interstellar*, the superhero feature *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* has fallen victim to digital piracy, as reported by Variety.

The blockbuster surfaced on the X platform on the evening of July 31. Within just six hours, the unauthorized upload garnered 5.9 million views and over 140,000 likes. The video was eventually removed on August 1 at 1:35 a.m. Moscow time, following a takedown request from Marvel.

Despite this illicit leak, *Brand New Day* has shattered domestic box office records. The film grossed an impressive $72 million during Thursday previews, surpassing the $60 million mark set by *Avengers: Endgame*. This fourth installment of Peter Parker’s journey is currently on track for a historic domestic opening weekend, with global projections suggesting a debut haul exceeding $900 million.
