Photos from the set of the live-action Disney’s Tangled remake have surfaced

Production for the highly anticipated live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2010 animated hit, Tangled, is currently underway in Spain.

Photographs from the set have surfaced, featuring lead actors Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider. The ensemble cast also includes notable additions such as Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along) and Diego Luna (Andor).

The project is being helmed by director Michael Gracey, known for his work on The Greatest Showman. The original Tangled, inspired by the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, follows a princess with magical golden hair who is kept secluded in a tower by her overbearing mother, Mother Gothel. Her life changes forever when she crosses paths with a charismatic thief, sparking a journey of discovery and freedom.

An official release date for the live-action Tangled has yet to be announced.
