Patch v1.5.6 is now live!

Greetings, Expeditioners,

Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm and numerous requests from our community, we are thrilled to announce that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 now fully supports Arabic! Thank you for your patience and passion as we worked to bring this update to life.

What’s New

  • Language Support: Arabic text is now fully integrated into the game.
  • Credits: Updated to recognize our dedicated new linguists, testers, and font designers.

Key Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Resolved a conflict where the Burn status, when applied to a stunned enemy, allowed them to bypass their recovery window and take an immediate turn.
  • Corrected an issue where the Level 10 Lumina effect for Cleim weapons failed to trigger consistently during AOE abilities.
  • Fixed a bug preventing Martenon’s Lumina effects from functioning correctly when Sciel lacked consecutive turns.
  • Addressed a stacking issue where Sireso weapon buffs, Level 4 Lumina effects, and Pictos/Lumina buffs would incorrectly overwrite one another based on character positioning.
  • Restored the missing audio cue for the Chromatic Lampmaster’s AOE jump attack.
  • Fixed an audio bug where Sirene’s “Widow Ballet” lacked sound effects during the second charm strike.
  • Resolved a graphical glitch in Photo Mode that caused character models to display displaced heads if they weren’t in the camera’s initial view.
  • Implemented various refinements to the user interface and localized text strings.

Known Issues & Workarounds

We are currently investigating reports of game crashes occurring when entering the Reacher or exiting the Manor. This issue is tied to specific PC hardware configurations. As a temporary workaround, please navigate to your settings and set ‘Global Illumination’ to any preset below ‘Epic.’

Your ongoing feedback is invaluable to us. Please continue to share your experiences and bug reports via our official Typeform. We are actively monitoring these reports as we prepare further improvements.

Thank you for your continued support,
The Expedition 33 Team
