According to When To Stream, “The Long Walk” is set to arrive on international streaming platforms on October 21.
The screen adaptation of Stephen King’s novel opened in cinemas in September. The story follows a group of young contestants forced into a lethal challenge: they must keep walking for thousands of kilometres without pausing for a single second, and only one survivor will be declared the winner.
The cast includes Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Charlie Plummer, Mark Hamill, and Judy Greer. Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games) directed the film. Worldwide box-office receipts reached $44 million against a $20 million production budget.
In Russia the film grossed 253 million rubles; the release was handled by distributor Volga. The exact date for “The Long Walk” to appear on domestic streaming services will be announced later.
