After a six-year wait since One-Punch Man season 2, Variety reports that the anime’s third season will debut on streaming services worldwide on October 12, 2025. Read the Variety report.
The new installment — which spotlights a large-scale confrontation between the Hero Association and the Monster Association — will stream on Hulu in the United States. In Canada, Disney+ will host the series as Hulu is folded into Disney+ next year. Crunchyroll will carry the show across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania, while Netflix will stream it in Oceania and Latin America. Such a sprawling platform rollout would make even Saitama proud.
Viz Media is overseeing the extensive international release; the company previously managed the anime’s U.S. premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami in 2016 and the second season’s Cartoon Network launch in 2019. One-Punch Man remains one of the best-selling manga of all time, and season 3 faces steep expectations after the extended hiatus and the mixed reception to season 2, which was produced by J.C. Staff following Madhouse’s earlier work on the series.
With J.C. Staff returning for season 3, viewers will be watching closely — hoping the production delivers the large-scale battles fans want, as Saitama squares off with the hero-hunter Garou and the S-Class heroes take on the Monster Association’s formidable executives.
