Olivia Rodrigo is officially stepping into the role of festival curator. On Monday (June 22), the singer announced the inaugural “Daisy Chain Fields,” a star-studded music festival featuring a powerful, all-female lineup including Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Doechii, and the legendary Stevie Nicks.
Taking to Instagram to share the event poster, Rodrigo expressed her overwhelming excitement, noting that this festival has been a long-held passion project. “I’ve dreamt of hosting a festival like this for years, and I’m absolutely thrilled to see it finally come to life,” she shared with her followers. The event is set to take place on August 29 in Irvine, California.
“Daisy Chain Fields is dedicated to showcasing incredible women in music. Every cent of the net proceeds will be donated to organizations committed to the advocacy and advancement of girls and women,” Rodrigo added. “The lineup is stacked with my dear friends and the artists I personally look up to. I truly believe that music, combined with a strong sense of community, can be a potent catalyst for meaningful change.”
The festival will feature headlining sets from Rodrigo herself, alongside an eclectic array of talent including Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Rachel Chinouriri, and Santigold. The event will also feature special appearances from icons Karen O and Sarah McLachlan, alongside Stevie Nicks.
Beneficiaries of the festival’s charitable mission include Baby2Baby, the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Planned Parenthood, the National Women’s Law Center, and several other key organizations. Rodrigo emphasized her hope that the gathering will foster a supportive community and inspire progress.
For those looking to attend, the presale begins at 10 a.m. PT this Wednesday (June 24). Fans are encouraged to register for a presale code via the official Daisy Chain Fields website.
This initiative continues Rodrigo’s dedicated philanthropic work. Following the launch of her “Fund 4 Good” in 2024, she has channeled over $2 million into reproductive rights and domestic violence prevention. Her efforts were further recognized in 2025 when she received the “Catalyst of Change” award from Planned Parenthood.
Daisy Chain Fields draws thematic inspiration from the iconic Lilith Fair, the pioneering all-women tour led by Sarah McLachlan in the late 90s—a movement Rodrigo recently revisited as part of a 2025 documentary. This exciting announcement follows the successful release of her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which recently topped the Billboard 200.
