Nominees for the Gotham Awards Announced

The full list of nominees for the 35th Gotham Awards has been published online. Paul Thomas Anderson’s Battle After Battle leads the field with a record six nominations.

The film appears in the categories Best Feature, Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Performance (Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor) and Breakthrough Performance (Chase Infinity). Notably, the movie’s lead, Leonardo DiCaprio, was passed over.

The Gotham Awards ceremony will take place on December 1 in New York. Honorary awards will be presented to the ensemble of Sinners, director Noah Baumbach (Jay Kelly), and actress Tessa Thompson (Hedda).
