No Man’s Sky Fan Builds Giant Death Star That Causes the Game to Crash

The building system gives players a vast array of creative options. Occasionally those creative urges go too far and problems can follow.

The Voyagers update added a host of new ship-building tools to No Man’s Sky, allowing constructions in many different styles. Some creators even recreate famous objects from other franchises.

Recently, a player using the handle Even-Ad648 spotted a structure during their travels that strongly resembles the Death Star from Star Wars. They soon found the likeness wasn’t only visual — the build can actually eject players.

When they tried to get closer to inspect the enormous construct, the game started crashing once they reached a certain proximity. It appears detailed exploration of the structure isn’t possible for now.
