Nintendo released the final trailer for “Super Mario: Galactic Movie”

The highly anticipated sequel to 2023’s box-office sensation is slated to arrive in theaters this coming April.

Nintendo and Illumination have debuted the final trailer for “The Super Mario Bros. Movie: Galactic Edition.” In this latest chapter, our heroes embark on a grand interstellar odyssey far beyond the familiar Mushroom Kingdom, where they are set to face off against Bowser Jr.

The production sees the return of directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, with a screenplay once again penned by Matthew Fogel. The project is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri alongside Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, while Brian Tyler returns to craft the musical score.

“The Super Mario Bros. Movie: Galactic Edition” will make its global debut on April 1, 2026. The film is scheduled to reach regional screens starting April 11.
