Sources say Nicole Kidman has been deeply shaken by persistent gossip suggesting her husband, Karl Urban, is involved with a much younger woman. Earlier this week it was revealed that the 58-year-old actress has filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage; the reasons for the split have not been specified.
One of Kidman’s close friends believes her husband’s betrayal was a severe blow — in recent years Nicole has made concerted efforts to maintain a youthful appearance.
At the moment the actress is choosing to spend time with her sister Antonia, who also supported her following the end of her relationship with Tom Cruise.
Urban seems to be finding the separation difficult as well. Reportedly, the musician recently altered the lyrics of a song dedicated to his wife, inserting another woman’s name. Instead of singing “Baby, I’ll be your fighter,” he now sings “Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player,” apparently referencing a 25-year-old guitarist named Maggie.
