This April, fans of the legendary “Attack on Titan” series can look forward to a new tabletop challenge with the cooperative “Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game: Season 1,” where players must once again stand firm against the encroaching titan threat.
Publisher Cryptozoic Entertainment has officially launched pre-orders for this revamped edition of the original 2016 board game. Currently, the title is available for purchase at approximately €47.23.
In this cooperative deck-building experience designed for 1–4 players, participants step into the shoes of iconic characters like Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. The game features a total roster of eight playable heroes from the “Attack on Titan” universe.
Throughout the campaign, players will face off against four formidable bosses, protect humanity’s last bastions, scavenge for powerful equipment, and master tactical maneuvers. Strategy is key as you explore various locations and recruit allies to turn the tide of battle.
Powered by Cryptozoic’s signature Cerberus engine, this updated version introduces high-quality acrylic character standees to replace the original cardboard tokens. Furthermore, the game features refined mechanics and optimized rules for more fluid, high-octane gameplay.
The set includes 168 standard game cards, 18 oversized cards, 8 hero standees with 4 bases, 5 wall tiles, 30 game tokens, and a detailed rulebook. The official launch of “Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game: Season 1” is currently scheduled for April 2026.
