New Pokémon Pokopia Patch Fixes Additional Quest Progression Issues

Pokémon Pokopia Gameplay Update

A fresh update for Pokémon Pokopia has officially launched, targeting several game-breaking glitches that previously hindered player progress. With Version 1.0.2 now available, the journey to restore the world and expand your roster of Pokémon companions should be a significantly smoother experience.

This patch specifically addresses obstacles within various quests. Some of these technical hiccups were triggered by precise player actions—such as placing blocks in specific spots—while others involved Pokémon spawning in unreachable areas, making essential interactions impossible. According to the official details provided by Nintendo, these fixes are now live for all players.

Key Fixes in Version 1.0.2

The update rectifies several specific mission-related roadblocks to ensure the narrative continues without interruption:

  • Withered Wasteland: Resolved a confusing progression issue in the “Rock Smash your way to treasure!” request where placing blocks over cracked surfaces near Hitmonchan would obscure the path forward.
  • Bleak Beach: Fixed a similar logic error in the “To Snorlax!” mission involving block placement that previously stalled the quest.
  • Squirtle’s Pathfinding: In the “Help make a home!” quest, Squirtle will no longer end up stranded on top of a tree, which previously prevented players from completing the dialogue.
  • Professor Tangrowth Bridge Logic: Several fixes were applied to the “Find the Pokémon Center!” quest to prevent soft-locks caused by destroying bridge blocks too early or failing to trigger the repair sequence.
  • Rocky Ridges Adjustments: Squashed bugs that prevented the Rotom encounter from appearing and addressed conditions that made the “Clear off the path!” request difficult to complete.
  • Pokédex Accuracy: Corrected an erroneous type listing for Spinarak in the digital encyclopedia.

If you have already encountered these issues in your current save file, installing this update will resolve them immediately. Players are advised to ensure their software is up to date before returning to the field.
