New Hyperpop PlayStation 5 Covers and Controllers Arriving This March

Sony Unveils the Vibrant ‘Hyperpop’ Aesthetic for PS5
For players eager to inject some personality into their gaming setup, Sony has officially pulled back the curtain on the Hyperpop Collection. This new suite of designer console covers and DualSense wireless controllers is scheduled to arrive this spring, offering a striking visual overhaul for the PlayStation ecosystem.
Drawing inspiration from the high-energy glow of RGB lighting, the collection debuts in three electrifying shades: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Each piece features a sophisticated glossy black shadow gradient that adds depth to the vivid colors. It is important to note, however, that these specific covers are tailored exclusively for the PS5 Slim model; owners of the original launch console or the PS5 Pro will unfortunately have to pass on this particular set of faceplates.
The Hyperpop Collection is slated for a March 12 launch, with pre-orders opening on January 16. In terms of pricing, the DualSense controllers will retail for $84.99, while the console covers—which Sony notes will be available in limited quantities—carry a price tag of $74.99.
