New Half‑Life Announced in November — Not by Valve: Half‑Life: Element 64 Demo Hits Steam
Many fans had been expecting a very different release.
A few insiders had stoked hopes for a “November reveal” of Half-Life 3. In reality, Valve did make a move within the franchise this month — approving a Steam release from modder Dark Vector.
Half-Life: Element 64 invites players back into the beloved universe with refreshed gameplay inspired by mid‑1990s retro shooters.
Fight zombified staff, mercenaries and alien invaders across four distinctive chapters, each featuring its own theme, foes and bosses. Master the maps and uncover secrets in a genuinely old‑school project, using a weapons roster familiar to those who once walked the corridors of Black Mesa.
The demo for Half-Life: Element 64 is available on Steam via this link.
