Netflix is keeping its momentum: while audiences await the second season, filming for the third has already wrapped.
Netflix has announced that shooting for the third and final season of Avatar: The Last Airbender — the live-action adaptation of the iconic animated series — is complete. Production took place in Canada and was shot alongside the second season, a strategy intended to speed up the arrival of the continuation.
That said, an official release date for season two has not yet been announced. Alongside the filming update, the team promised they will reveal “exciting news about season two” in the near future.
“When we began shooting season two, we were guided by three principles: honesty, hope, and joy. Today we close out the finale alongside an incredibly talented and devoted team that has not only embodied those ideals but exceeded them.”
