Netflix Announces the Return of Money Heist

The global Spanish sensation Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) is officially returning, according to a recent announcement from Netflix.

“The revolution never ends. From this moment on, we are in charge of Money Heist. If you want to be part of the next master plan and keep up with every move our crew makes, this is where you need to be,”

— the streamer’s press office teased. Specific details regarding the project’s format remain under wraps, and there is no official word yet on which cast members will be returning for this new chapter.

Originally airing from 2017 to 2021, Money Heist chronicled the exploits of a brilliant mastermind and his band of thieves as they orchestrated daring, high-stakes heists. The series featured performances by Úrsula Corberó, Álvaro Morte, Pedro Alonso, and others.

In 2022, Netflix released a successful Korean adaptation of the show, followed in 2023 by the launch of the spin-off series Berlin, which garnered significant popularity and has since been renewed for a second season.
