Nekome: Nazi Hunter: A Brutal Grindhouse-Inspired Nazi-Slaying Action Game

Following the release of Storm Lancers last year, ProbablyMonsters has officially unveiled its latest project: Nekome: Nazi Hunter. This third-person action title delivers exactly what its name implies, casting players into a brutal crusade against the Third Reich. While specific release windows and platform details remain under wraps, the premise of high-stakes retribution during World War II is sure to capture the attention of action enthusiasts.
According to the developer, the narrative centers on Vano Nastasu, a Romani protagonist propelled by the devastating loss of his family at the hands of occupational forces. The game chronicles Vano’s evolution into a lethal specialist, charting his bloody path across the landscapes of a continent ravaged by conflict.

Rather than focusing on the grand strategic maneuvers of the war, ProbablyMonsters is opting for a deeply personal lens. As Vano, players aren’t necessarily aiming to dismantle the entire war machine, but rather to methodically eliminate every Nazi soldier in their path. Gameplay blends tactical scouting and careful planning with explosive, visceral combat. The debut footage showcases a heavy emphasis on stealth and grisly, close-quarters encounters.
Visually, the title draws heavy inspiration from the gritty aesthetic of grindhouse cinema. This stylistic choice complements the “grounded” finishing moves and visceral violence that define the experience. For a closer look at the environments and character designs, the studio shared a series of high-resolution screenshots:
