Moonfrost launches in Steam Early Access with village rebuilding and life-sim systems
Moonfrost entered Steam Early Access on October 12. Oxalis Games’ life-sim RPG casts the player as a Frost Hunter rebuilding a village in a world damaged by icy meteorites from a mysterious second moon.
Restoring homes and businesses brings villagers back. Their relationships and story arcs develop as the community grows, with friendship and romance among the available interactions.
Farming, fishing, gathering and crafting supply the materials for construction. Quests unlock tools, while requests help fund further crafting. Outside the village, ancient temples contain enemies, traps, rare resources and clues about the second moon.
Players can customise their character, house and farm. The release remains in Early Access, with development continuing after launch. The publisher’s announcement lists base prices of $14.99, £12.99 and €14.99.
