Modders Add Seamless Co-op and Multiplayer to Bloodborne on PC
Fans continue to improve the unofficial PC version of Bloodborne.
Bloodborne can now be played on PC using more than just an emulator. Thanks to the advancement of AI technologies, creating an unofficial PC version of FromSoftware’s game has become possible.
This PC port continues to be actively developed, and recently a project called “The Hunter’s Dream” appeared. Modders are offering players dedicated servers and a special tool that brings online features back to this version of Bloodborne, such as phantoms and messages left by other people.
In addition, clsamg22 introduced a fully seamless co-op mode for Bloodborne. In the original game, a co-op session ends after every death, every boss, and so on. Thanks to this project, groups can stay together with support for up to five players. The project is compatible with the PC port as well as the shadPS4 emulator. Players can host their own servers for co-op play and even play in split-screen mode on a single PC.
The Bloodborne Seamless Co-Op (BBSC) modification by clsamg22 is available for free via Nexus Mods.
Not all members of the gaming community approve of the fan-made Bloodborne PC port because it was created using artificial intelligence. For the same reason, critics have targeted The Hunter’s Dream, as dissatisfied individuals are certain that the service was also created using AI technologies.
