Players can now pay to save time in Battlefield 6.

The creators of Battlefield 6 recently launched Season 5, adding a battle pass, new weapon models, maps, and various improvements to the game alongside an expanded monetization system.

A special Game of the Year edition was introduced for Battlefield 6, containing the base game and several bonuses:

  • Trusted Reserve soldier skin
  • BF Pro dog tag: battle pass + 25 tier skips, plus exclusive content
  • Phantom squad: 4 soldier skins
  • Shrouded weapon set
  • Drop Shadow weapon set
  • Glimmer melee weapon skin
  • Snímera vehicle skin
  • Death’s Head weapon sticker
  • Weapon charm and dog tag
  • Phantom XP booster pack
  • Full Set DLC

The most notable item in the Battlefield 6 GOTY bonus list is the Full Set, known in the English localization as the Ultimate Shortcut Kit. This add-on, which is also sold separately for $30, allows players to instantly master any class.

Through the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, players can unlock the Death Scream dog tag, the Field Training: Cross Trained rank, and pre-leveled weapons and vehicles.

This DLC includes an upgrade bundle for the Assault class featuring:

  • 7 weapons (100% mastery)
  • 2 vehicles (100% mastery)
  • Training path: frontline fighter
  • 4 gadgets

The upgrade bundles for the Support, Engineer, and Recon classes are similar, as players also receive 100% mastery for various weapon models and vehicles alongside gadgets and training paths.

Players now complain that achieving level 50 mastery in Battlefield 6 no longer means anything, since someone can pay to get everything instantly. This practice of selling Ultimate Shortcut Kit bundles for Battlefield franchise games is not new, as similar DLCs were released for past installments.
