Modder Ports Quest Overhaul Mod for The Witcher 3 Remaster
Enthusiasts continue to improve the game step by step.
The remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released at the end of September. Over the past years, players have created many modifications for the original and next-generation versions, and now these mods are being ported to work with the new version.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features not only clearly marked quests, but also side activities that players can easily miss. Modders noticed this and presented a solution by adding 18 full-fledged quests to the game that activate at various points during the playthrough:
There are many activities in The Witcher 3. Although completing such activities often yields rewards, and sometimes features unique scenes and dialogues, they are not logged in the journal and do not come with special notifications to help the player complete them. Furthermore, some of them are very easy to miss. This mod turns these activities into quests.
Once an activity is activated, a journal entry, map markers, objectives, and a description will appear, just like with normal quests.
The modification Witcher 3 Quests Extended (W3QE) Remastered for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster is available for free on Nexus Mods. The mod description includes hidden spoiler information about these quests. For example, at a certain point in Kaer Morhen, a quest unlocks that rewards Geralt with a unique weapon model.
Previously, another popular mod was adapted for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster, which not only restores cut content but also includes a huge number of bug fixes.
