Another major Microsoft title has arrived on PS5 — early access is now live. The full launch is scheduled for December 8, 2025, but owners of the higher-tier edition can already take to the skies.
Despite reports from Gamingbolt about texture streaming hitches and responsiveness issues, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PS5 presents very well. Its visual fidelity is almost on par with the Xbox Series X build.
There are also critical notes: slower world streaming, occasional server disconnects, and isolated bugs that affect gameplay. Reviews stress that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers an enormous amount of content, leverages the DualSense features effectively, and remains one of the best flight simulation systems in the genre’s history.
For simulation fans this still feels like a distinctive experience, although several fixes will be needed.
