Massive Tears of the Kingdom Art Book to Receive English Translation This Fall

While a fresh Zelda title for the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 remains on the horizon, enthusiasts of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have a major milestone to celebrate this autumn. Dark Horse, the premier publisher responsible for iconic reference works like 2013’s Hyrule Historia, will expand its legendary library on October 20 with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Secrets of the Zonai.

According to Dark Horse, this massive 472-page hardcover tome serves as the definitive companion to the game, featuring:

• 50 Pages of Visual Splendor: A curated collection of promotional imagery, character portraits, and vibrant illustrations.
• 300 Pages of Development Lore: An exhaustive look at the creative process, featuring early sketches, rough design concepts, and personal recollections from the development team.
• 80 Pages of Ancient History: A deep dive into the enigmatic origins of the Zonai and the chronological events leading up to the game’s narrative.
• Exclusive Creator Insights: In-depth interviews with franchise producer Eiji Aonuma, director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, and art director Satoru Takizawa.

Collectors can choose between two distinct versions of the book. The Standard Edition ($59.99) includes the full 472-page archive in a high-quality hardcover format. For those seeking the ultimate treasure, the Hero’s Edition ($119.99) upgrades the experience with an exclusive cover design, a commemorative cloth map of the Depths, an art print featuring Link alongside the Sages, and a physical replica of Zelda’s Secret Stone.

Both versions of Secrets of the Zonai are available for pre-order today via Dark Horse ahead of the October shipping date.
