Lords of the Fallen II to feature improved combat and reworked story
Development on Lords of the Fallen II is picking up speed as the creators polish the combat system, balance, Umbral world mechanics, and story. The game is still scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2027.
The CI Games team has focused on the core elements of the dark role-playing sequel. The developers are improving the combat system, balancing gameplay, refining the Umbral world and graphics, and making it easier for newcomers to learn the rules of the game world. Special attention is being paid to the narrative.
Company head Marek Tymiński reported that negotiations with several banks regarding a new credit line are progressing successfully. CI Games expects to finalize the paperwork before the end of October, securing funding to finish development and prepare for the global release.
The closed beta for Lords of the Fallen II has been postponed to January to give the team more time to polish the game. At the same time, the release window for the full version remains unchanged at the first quarter of 2027.

The “Lifting the Veil” presentation series will also resume in the near future, during which the developers will reveal details about new mechanics and other additions.
